Medical Information Officer

Job purpose & objectives: 

• Provide medical information services for internal and external stakeholders by responding to medical inquiries on all products
• Distribution of latest publications to relevant Medical team members
• Systematically improving the way of working at Medical Information
• Bring value to the Medical team (e.g. by reducing workload of MSLs and MAs)

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Intake, dissemination, responding to and archiving of medical inquiries on the products or therapeutic areas by physicians, pharmacists, patients and other external (or internal) stakeholders
• Ensure correct and medically/scientifically sound response to questions
• Leverage Medical Information to add value internally
  • Focus on customer-centric responses
  • Active participation of MI in brand teams
• Be the HCP/Customer’s voice at Area/Global
• Ensure proper use of global systems (e.g. VMIS)

• Medical/scientific background
• Able to respond in a professional and scientific manner to medical questions in at least two of three languages (NL, FR & EN)
• Great communication skills
• Great team working skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
