Freelance Energy & Raw Materials Risk Analyst

Our client is an international and leading company active in the Heavy Industry. To strengthen their organization, we are currently supporting them in their search for a Freelance Energy & Raw Materials Risk Analyst. 

• You are responsible for safeguarding product margins  against market volatility, from both energy, crucial raw materials and foreign exchange risks.
• You will play a crucial role in managing protecting the sales margins.
•  You report, develop and run periodic reports on market developments within your domains.
•  You will work closely with internal (Sales, Purchasing, Finance, etc.) and external stakeholders (brokers, banks, suppliers, customers, etc.).

• You combine a Bachelor or Master in Finance with several years of experience as a Trader.
•  You have extensive knowledge of hedging instruments, principles and regulations.
• You combine both analytical and synthesis skills and you are process-oriented.
• You have good communication skills and effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
