Freelance S&OP and Inventory Specialist

For one of our clients, a dynamic, ambitious and innovative scale up company active in the Food industry, we are currently recruiting a freelance S&OP and Inventory Specialist for a challenging assignment.

As S&OP and Inventory Specialist you are responsible for the further development, professionalization and management of the forecasting en S&OP process within the company.

• You manage the monthly forecast analysis and you are responsible for the entire S&OP process.
• You translate the forecast into short term and long term production planning proposals.
• You maintain close contact with various (internal & external) stakeholders: Sales, Operations, Purchasing, different suppliers, etc.
• You manage the stock of finished goods, taking into account the limited shelf life of the products.
• You mange the inventory of raw materials and packaging material at different locations and make sure the inventory levels are properly reflected in the ERP-system.
•  You are responsible for the creation of articles in the ERP-system.
• You report directly to the COO.

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree combined with a first supply chain management or S&OP experience, preferably within the food industry. 
• You are structured and have methodical way of working.
• You have excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and ERP systems (preferably SAP and/ or ODOO).
• You are a strong communicator, with the ability to motivate stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, Dutch and French are an asset.

• Project Duration: Min 3-6 months with possible extension
