Freelance Warehouse Manager

For one of our clients, a dynamic, ambitious and innovative scale up company active in the Food industry, we are currently recruiting a freelance Warehouse Manager.

• As Warehouse Manager you are responsible for the long-term organization and day-to-day coordination of the warehouse. You ensure that the inbound & outbound activities run smoothly and safely and that the predefined targets are met.
• You supervise the weekly and daily planning, make adjustments where necessary and take the necessary actions to process the orders as efficiently as possible.
• You coordinate and coach your team of 15-25 people, you provide the necessary training and guidance. You engage and motivate employees by involving them in daily improvements. 
• You report directly to the COO.

• You have minimum a first experience in a similar role, preferably within the food industry.
• You are a strong communicator, with the ability to motivate your team and different stakeholders.
• You are hands on.
• Fluency in English, Dutch and French are an asset.

• Project Start: preferably ASAP
• Fulltime occupation
• Project Duration: Min 3-6 months with possible extension
