Due to their strong growth over the last years and future growth ambitions, they need to structure the team solidly. Due to this we are currently looking for a Plant Manager.

Description de l'emploi

As Plant Manager, you will have the responsibility over 25 employees active across several production lines. Together with your team, you are responsible for all production activities on the site. You will make sure that all quality and operational objectives are met.

  • You manage, coach and develop your employees to make the best use of their competencies, skills and know-how, by doing so you take your team to the next level.
  • You aim for the best operational performance in order to guarantee correct delivery deadlines to your customers (mainly Retail).
  • You strive for optimal performance in the areas of safety, hygiene, quality and efficiency and you are responsible for achieving the predefined KPIs in these areas. To achieve this you will work closely with the Site Quality Manager, Production Manager and Group Operations Director.
  • You keep abreast of the latest market tendencies and evolutions aiming for the development of possible innovative solutions.
  • You analyze production processes, detect bottlenecks and initiate improvements and/ or possible investments. You will play a crucial and central role in the further expansion of the production site.
  • You act as a reliable and valuable partner for customers, suppliers and your Management.
  • You will lead the local Management Team (with the R&D Manager, Quality Manager, Production Manager, Logistics and ICT-Manager) and report directly to the Group Operations Director.  


Profil

  • Ideally you obtained a Master or Bachelor degree, preferably food or nutrition related, in combination with several years of leadership experience within the Food Industry (or similar sectors).
  • You are a strong and hands-on people manager who can inspire and motivate people.
  • You get energy from analyzing problems and finding appropriate solutions.
  • You have an operational excellence mindset and proven process- and change management skills combined with a high enthusiasm for complex production facilities, scale-ups and continuous improvement.
  • You have excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and ERP systems. In addition, you have solid experience in digitizing various workflows.
  • You have analytical skills to drive data based decision taking.
  • Fluent in French with a good level of Dutch and/ or English.
