Our client is an international and leading company active in the FMCG/ Food Industry. To further strengthen their private label brands, ambitions and (inter)national market presence the private label division is reinforcing their Sales Team with a National Account Manager OOH & B2B.
Job description
As National Account Manager OOH & B2B you are responsible for delivering the yearly and long term profitable sales growth of your international private label customers.
- Within this role you will be accountable for their OOH (e.g. Traders, CoPackers, etc.) and B2B/ Industry clients. You assure an increasing volume, market share and private label brand awareness resulting in a solid supplier relationship.
- You will set up and implement an account plan, aligned with the corporate strategy, ensuring an efficient and profitable strategy in terms of pricing, volume, assortment, etc.
- You fulfill a key position in the further rationalization of the product assortment.
- You are responsible for the annual negotiations with the customers, deal implementation and continuous evaluation of the results. When necessary you take corrective actions.
- Due to your knowledge of the products and the thorough understanding of the various market needs, you are able to detect new opportunities and further expand the company’s market share.
- You keep abreast on market trends and changes and analyze relevant market data in order to assure proper use of your commercial instruments.
- You will be responsible for all contract management activities and act as SPOQ for all logistic, financial and administrative issues that may occur together with your peers from Accountancy & Customer Service.
- You will report directly to the Sales Director.
Profile
- You have a Master’s degree and 3-5 years’ experience in a commercial role within the FMCG Industry. You get energy from building private label brands, experience with private label products is considered as a plus.
- You can build upon a strong commercial experience where you are used to negotiate on a strategic level.
- You are analytical and are used to work with market data such as GfK, Nielsen etc.
- You have good communication skills and are aware of the importance of good stakeholder management. You excel in building long-term partnerships and relationships.
- You have a result-oriented hands-on approach and are driven to exceed targets and objectives.
- You are ambitious and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Occasional traveling that might occur is no problem (5-10%).
- Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory for this role.
