Due to the challenges this industry faces and the rising demand for knowledge sharing and partnership & network development, they are looking to strengthen their organisation with a Strategic Business Manager – Smart Manufacturing.

Jobomschrijving

• You are able to translate the Smart Manufacturing Industry needs in terms of innovation, change and process optimization into practical business insights & knowledge exchange. Therefore you will develop and maintain relationships with relevant technology corporations/ federations active in IoT and Industry 4.0.
• You will highlight the most interesting topics and challenges the Smart Manufacturing Industry faces and convert these into valuable content, community building and networking activities.
• You develop partnerships with progressive and revolutionary market leaders, at a senior level, in order to share best practices and new content initiatives.
• You are keen on exceeding business targets ensuring the further strategic development and growth of your business unit.
• You will manage a team of commercial and operational employees who will support you in the roll-out of the strategic business activities.
• You will report directly to the Cluster Director.

Profiel

• Master or Bachelor degree in Commercial Sciences, Engineering or equivalent through relevant industry experience.
• Experience in the Smart Manufacturing Industry is required, preferably within IoT, Industry 4.0 and/ or process automation.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a role that involves commercial strategy or business unit development, people management and/ or project management.
• You are an excellent relationship builder with state-of-the-art communication and interpersonal skills.
• You are passionate about innovation and discovering new technologies within the Smart Manufacturing Industry.
• You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English with a good level of French.
