The company's Quality of Life Group (QLG) provides funding for QoL-related projects that fit within their portfolio (e.g., development of company's QLG grant funding process; and provide administrative and scientific support to the QoL Department and members of the company's QLG. The candidate is expected to have expertise and a broad knowledge of Psychology/QoL research, which are needed to help monitor and support QoL research projects in the field of cancer.
- Provide advice on QoL grant application process and liaise with relevant parties.
- Coordinate the company's QLG grant review process by following up all the grants from submission to contract signing and by liaising with all relevant entities during the process.
- Ensure the company's HQ project tracking tool and information systems remain updated.
- Develop a strategy for a more efficient and standardized grant review process to ensure a timely and smooth flow of activities across various relevant stakeholders (e.g., applicants, scientific reviewers, scientific committees, company's decision-making bodies).
- Develop, maintain and provide guidance or standard templates for all grant related activities.
- Summarise scientific documents and articles in a timely manner.
- Support relevant committees by preparing and contributing to scientific briefing documents.
- Undertake research with the aim of providing and analysing scientific information related to QoL in cancer research.
Profil
- At least a scientific master’s degree or a degree in psychology, social sciences, or outcome research, and ideally at PhD level.
- Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written.
- Proficient with MS Office tools.
- Scientific-oriented and critical thinking skill.
- Able to independently draft and summarise scientific reports (including developing presentation slides).
- Well-organised, driven and results-oriented with the ability to integrate in an international environment.
- Motivated and with a strong sense of initiative and responsibility.
- Able to work both independently and in a team.
- Able to assess and handle the level of sensitivity and confidentiality of information.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Patients Reported Outcomes and QoL is an asset.
- Previous experience in grant management is a major asset.
