What does an IT Business Analyst do at ICT Talents?
As an IT Business Analyst, you act as the bridge between business and IT. You map out business needs and processes, translate them into clear requirements and work together with IT teams on solutions that deliver real value.
Depending on the project and the client, your responsibilities may include:
Business & Process Analysis
- Analysing and optimising business and IT processes.
- Identifying needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Translating business requirements into clear functional requirements.
- Modelling and documenting processes and requirements.
- Contributing to more efficient and future-oriented ways of working.
Functional Analysis & IT Solutions
- Translating business needs into practical and feasible IT solutions.
- Collaborating with developers, IT specialists, product owners and other stakeholders.
- Supporting the implementation, configuration or improvement of applications.
- Preparing functional documentation, procedures and test cases.
- Designing and following up on functional and user acceptance testing.
Stakeholder Management
- Acting as the point of contact between business and IT.
- Communicating with different stakeholders and aligning expectations.
- Monitoring and reporting on progress, risks and potential issues.
- Guiding and supporting end users when implementing new or modified applications.
Depending on your experience, you may work on ERP, CRM, financial systems, operational applications, data, digital transformation or other business-critical IT solutions.
Profiel
Who are we looking for?
We are primarily interested in what you bring to the table. You do not need to meet every requirement listed below.
Ideally, you have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree, for example in business administration, computer science, business engineering or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Business Process Analyst or in a similar role.
- Experience analysing and optimising business processes.
- The ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Experience with one or more business applications, such as ERP, CRM or other enterprise systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- The ability to move smoothly between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- An independent, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- An interest in IT and a willingness to further develop your expertise.
Knowledge of specific tools, industries or technologies depends on the project and is therefore not a general requirement.
