Our client is a well known international company with a hands-on culture that has a lot of expertise within the medical sector. In order to continuously improve their human resources, they are looking for an ambitious HR advisor to strengthen their Belgian team. 

The office is located in Willebroek.

Job description

Your responsabilities

  • You will be the point of contact for our Belgium employees for all individual matters, questions, or concerns
  • Together with Partena (SAM) you will manage the Belgium payroll
  • You will raise agreed employment requests and manage the recruitment process following the EMEA Talent Acquisition policy
  • You will onboard new colleagues so that they consider their startup to be smooth and positive 
  • You will administrate the employee lifecycle, which includes job changes, learning & development and possible terminations and by updating systems you will ensure we remain GDPR compliant
  • You will develop, improve and implement HR policies
  • You will improve the performance appraisal system, job classifications and job descriptions and provide monthly reporting
  • You will be responsible for external contractors such as temporary employment agencies, insurance companies or pension providers and timely update the personnel administration of these vendors
  • You will assist the Head of HR BeNeLux with local, EMEA and Global projects.


What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English and a good knowledge of French
  • Extensive knowledge of the Belgium employment law and payroll
  • Very good knowledge and skills of MS-Office (excel)
  • Knowledge of Workday and SAM is a plus
  • Experience in an international environment is of added value
  • Full of enthusiasm, energy, ambition and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to remain objective while providing the support employees need
  • A future-oriented, solution-oriented, proactive and out of the box thinking personality
  • Strong ability to set priorities and self-manage high volume workload
  • Very structured way of working with a strong focus on efficient and effective processes
