Job description
· As HR manager for the DACHSEE region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and
South Eastern countries) for the 3 divisions and support functions (IT,
Finance, Purchasing, …), and for the 4 manufacturing sites in Germany, you will
be responsible to:
· Lead and motivate a team of 8 HR generalists & payroll specialists
· Facilitate all HR core processes: recruitment, merit process and talent review
to ensure business support in succession planning, career management and
development of high performing staff
· Act as a change agent and work with business managers to ensure the
implementation of strategic plans ensuring effective deployment
· Drive implementation of a variety of HR projects, including strategic
staffing and optimization plans
· Integration of international HR strategies and programs
· Work closely together with local works councils incl. corresponding
negotiations and implementation of collective company agreements
· Monitor local Compensation & Benefits responsibilities in
cooperation with Headquarters, including payroll and extra-legal benefits
· Monitor ongoing pension activities for active and passive employees
together with the external pension provider
· Monitor costs within agreed budgets
·
Implement corporate
policies, processes and projects, and standardize practices and systems across
the region.
Profile
· Minimum 8 years HR experience in an international HR environment, at
least three of these being in an HR Manager role
· Degree preferably in Business Management with excellent knowledge in Labor
Law, Social Security, Taxes and especially in Company Pension (baV)
· Proven experience in successful working with Works Councils
· A "builder" mindset and passion for creating and improving HR
processes
· Result oriented – with the ability to be resilient in the face of
setbacks, demonstrating determination and flexibility to overcome barriers
· Pragmatic and hands-on mentality
· Self-motivated and enthusiastic, influential in a transformation
environment - reliable with high sense of responsibility
· Able to manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization and to deal
with cross-functional populations.
· Client and customer focused – accustomed to working with multi-functional
groups at all levels
· Demonstrated ability to lead change projects and drive process
excellence
· Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, -
able to communicate with and influence multiple levels within the organization
· German mother tongue with fluent English (spoken & written).
